why does my Toshiba laptop suddenly decide to close down with NO instruction from me? I use adware, spybot, and AVG anti spyware. I run them every night before closing down for the night. The off line browser cache is a folder where the computer stores the cookies from sites you visit. You can easily access it either from IE if that is the browser you are using or from using explorer. You should clean all Temp. Internet Files, History, and the Cache once in a while as some of that stuff can get garbaged and it will just put it back in the first time you visit your sites.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
